Chuckie A. Nguyen (aka Chuckie Akenz) is a Vietnamese-Canadian rapper. He was born on January 21, 1986 . He grew up in the Jane and Finch neighborhood of Toronto, Canada. Chuckie rose to mainstream notoriety with the filming of an amateur rap video called "You Got Beef?" The music video became popular on the internet and was the subject of much controversy.[1] In October of 2006, Chuckie was featured in an episode of the Fifth Estate named "Lost in the Struggle."[2] He was also on an episode of MuchMusic's Music Is My Life, talking about his personal life.[verification needed]
