Chuck Thomas

Chuck Thomas (born July 30, 1980 in Birmingham, England) is an English television presenter and producer.
He recently presented and produced the late night ITV1 interactive gameshow, Quizmania, which he created with Debbie King and Simone Thorogood. He is currently Head of Programming, Participation TV for FremantleMedia
His career began after being chosen by BBC1 to host the Edinburgh TV Festival. The following year, he launched the ITV children's channel, Carlton Kids, where he became ITV's youngest producer and hosted their breakfast show, Wakey Wakey.
He sold his first pilot to Channel 5 in 2001 with his own company, Cheeky TV. He later hosted their breakfast show, Milkshake.
Since 2003, Chuck has specialised in Participation TV, first working for 9Live in Germany, where he launched the first Call TV show for E4 and more recently creating Bowling for Bucks for Optimistic Media.
He joined FremantleMedia in 2005 and has since launched international versions of Quizmania for ITV1 (UK), Polsat (Poland) and the Nine Network (Australia).
He launched My Games Fever on My Network TV in the USA with Simone Thorogood.
Chuck is the second cousin of Billy Gibbons, lead singer in American rock band ZZ Top.
In his spare time, Chuck is a noted fan of sky diving, the Elephant Man historical events and Cliff Richard's 1980s-era music.
Chuck is also known for being the child actor in the 1987 Argos Christmas marketing campaign.
Chuck is a regular long distance runner, culminating in running in the 2008 London Marathon in a personal best 3 hours 58 minutes.
