Chuck Soderberg is the Iowa State Representative from the 3rd District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2004.
Soderberg currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Human Resources committee; the Natural Resources committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Commerce committee, where he is the ranking member.
Soderberg was re-elected in 2006 with 7,806 votes, running unopposed.[1] He has announced his support for Fmr. Gov. Mitt Romney in the 2008 presidential race.[2]
Soderberg has been employed by the energy cooperative Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative for the past 24 years and is currently vice president of Planning and Legislative Services at NIPCO.[3]
Soderberg is has recently been actively promoting a book, along with four of his House colleagues, which rejects the notion that human activity impacts global warming. [4] A copy of the letter distributed along with this book can be viewed here.
