Charles LaVerne Nelson (born February 23, 1960 in Seattle, Washington) is a former professional American football placekicker for five seasons for the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, and the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Washington. Nelson currently serves as the radio color commentator for University of Washington football games.
