Chuck Hunt

Charles "Chuck" Hunt is the former First Gentleman of Massachusetts and the husband of former Massachusetts Acting Gov. Jane Swift. Hunt is the first First Gentleman in Massachusetts history.

He became First Gentleman in 2001 when his wife succeeded former Gov. Paul Cellucci who resigned to become U.S. Ambassador to Canada. He served until 2003 when his wife stepped down after declining to seek a full term as governor.

Hunt was well known for being a stay at home house husband during his wife's acting governorship. He took care of his three children during this time. He entered the news when reports of his previous marriages became public.
