Chuck Currie

Chuck Currie is a United Church of Christ minister in Portland, Oregon who is regarded as one of Oregon's leading advocates for the homeless. He served on the board of the National Coalition for the Homeless and as the executive director of the Goose Hollow Family Shelter in Portland. Currie is a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri, currently works as the interim minister at Parkrose Community United Church of Christ in northeast Portland, and writes a blog about the United Church of Christ and ecumenical issues.
