Chuck Barris Productions

Chuck Barris Productions was an American television production company that was started in 1965 by Chuck Barris.

In 1968, he formed Barris Industries.
In 1980, Barris produced the movie The Gong Show Movie, which was distributed by Universal Pictures.
In 1986, he formed Barris Syndication Sales.

Due to his illness in 1997, he sold his company and his game show formats to Columbia TriStar Television. Currently, all of his game shows are distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
