Chuck Ainlay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chuck Ainlay is a record producer. He has worked with Mark Knopfler on much of Knopfler's solo work, in addition to some Dire Straits material.[1][2][3]

Along with Knopfler and Bob Ludwig, in 2006 he collected the Grammy Award for Best Surround Sound Album for the surround production of the famous Dire Straits album Brothers in Arms.[4]

Ainlay recently produced Mark Knopfler's latest solo album, Kill to Get Crimson. Most likely he will be recording some of the shows during the upcoming Mark Knopfler tour, as he has done during the past two tours.
