Category:Churches in Iceland

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Churches in Iceland are renowned for their unusual architecture style. 20th and 21st century churches are most unique in construction and designs range from tipi-like to arches and shipfronts. Older churches were mostly built by wood and later concrete. Most of the country churches were built around 1900. Photos of all the Icelandic churches are to be found at The Icelandic Church Net [1]
