Chris, are you the real Chris Martin from Coldplay?? --Biohazard 10:54, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Sadly, no! I am merely a philosopher and writer. --Chris Martin 16:31, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Chris, the "other real Chris Martin" (former World Champion of Diplomacy and multiple-time North American Champion of Diplomacy) is just a dance instructor. I came to your talk page seeing if you were him since you edited the Diplomacy_(game) article. --Barno 18:55, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Ha, yes, I know - it always excites people when I turn up to Dip Cons. And then they see it's just little me after all. --Chris Martin 16:31, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
I take it you're a Radiohead fan! Regular exercise at the gym (3 days a week)... --Starla Dear 00:51, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's true, both ways: I am a Radiohead fan; I am fitter, happier and more productive. What drew you to my User Page? --Chris Martin 16:31, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

- I was on Chris Martin's discussion page, saw your user name and had to check it out! As for the userboxes, I don't think you can get them any more through the Wikipedia page that told you how to get pre-made ones and how to make your own, but if you hit 'edit page' on someone's user page you can see the html required for the box. I generally look around for ones I like and see what you need to type to make them.
- Here is one that you might like.

[edit] Re: My User Page
Hi, sorry for the lateness of my reply. I was on a wikibreak. No problem! Always happy to fix a fellow wikipedian's page. To answer your question, I noticed the vandlism on recent changes patrol. Happy wiki'ing! --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 15:14, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Stephen Colbert
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Stephen Colbert. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.--Hnsampat 15:56, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Albigensian Crusade
I'm contacting you out of courtesy as you have contributed to the page and may wish to supply your own citations. If you feel this doesn't matter to you, please ignore it. This page was rated as a Good Article, but has been downgraded because nobody did the donkeywork of listing the attributions to the various statements provided, which is after all a fairly serious dereliction of duty in what's suppoed to be a historical record. Having discussed the withdrawal of GA with LuciferMorgan, I give notice that I am sitting down with the three classic original source texts (Puylaurens, Vaux-de-Cernay and de Tudèle - the last in the Livre de Poche edition as the Martin-Chabot is long out of print) to add the missing inline citations to this page. I do not intend at this point to make any textual alterations, but if comments are made which are NOT justified, be prepared to state your sources now.

[edit] Speedy deletion of Kendall Walton
A tag has been placed on Kendall Walton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The entire history of the page was a copyright infringement. I've recreated the page as a stub now. Cheers! east.718 at 16:08, December 17, 2007
