[edit] Welcome!

Hello, Chrishy man, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

From your contributions, you may be interested in joining WikiProject Computer and Video Games. It's a collaboration of Wikipedians with an interest in video games and related subjects, and includes a range of activities for you to involve yourself in. We could always do with more help. :)

Finally, on a very minor note, your edit to Monopoly Party was a very good one in terms of adding new content. In the future, however, you may find the Wikipedia Manual of Style (linked above) a useful resource for ensuring that articles you edit are as good as they can be. In particular, try to avoid single-sentence paragraphs, and single-paragraph sections: most of what you added can be simply merged into a single section, without compromising the article's quality.

I hope you enjoy Wikipedia, and I hope you continue editing in the future. Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 06:02, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You needed help?

Feel free to ask your question on my talk page. --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 23:56, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Heh, heh. That was me who fixed your userboxes! The problem was that you used {{Userboxbottom}} instead of {{Boxboxbottom}}. So I guess in a way I did help you! ;) --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 00:02, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Just add a backslash followed by the name of your subpage. For example. you would change the URL on your user page from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Chrishy_man to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Chrishy_man/Userboxes to create a userbox subpage. Check out Wikipedia:Subpages for more info. Also, don't ever hesitate to ask me a question, I'm always available for help. ;) --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 00:17, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

You're not stupid, I just had a more experienced user ask me that just a couple of hours ago! ;) Just click on the preferences link near the top of the page, and check the raw signatures box. Then, change the code in the text box to whatever you want! The link is the same thing as any other link formatting. Go ahead and copy someone else's signature, and modify it to make it your own. --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 00:43, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Markup. Most everything you do on Wiki is in markup. Just look at my sig's coding for info. --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 01:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User Category for Discussion

[edit] Your reversion at MOTD

When you reverted my edits w/ the summary, "Do not delete archives", I was moving that discussion from the section, "Decisions to be acted on" to the actual archives, not deleting them. The section which you reverted, "Decisions to be acted on", is not the place for archives, it is the "purgatory" between the nominations page and the archives page (for future reference). However, feel free to do the archival process in the future.  ~Steptrip 03:05, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Also, per your request at MOTD, I can pretty much tell you that the motto, "Will edit for food" will pass (unanimosity).  ~Steptrip 15:18, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
I go vandal crazy sometimes as well ... which tool do you use?  ~Steptrip 20:06, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
I can't do RC patrol that way, due to the fact that about 20 or so new edits are made every second.  ~Steptrip 20:13, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Archiving closed nominations

Thank you for your help archiving motto nominations. Just FYI: when you archive them, be sure to add them to the top of the list. It maintains the order of oldest at the bottom and newest at the top. Thanks. --Tewy 04:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for supporting my motto. Harrison-HB4026 00:05, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Motto

Yes, it was! Thanks for that!!! Kfc1864 06:10, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Adoption

Um...i'm not sure. I think its kind of strange for adoption from a younger person, though I suppose that doesn't really matter, in a Wikipedia sense.Silver seren 13:52, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

True and true. So, yes...I accept. There's no template for accepting. o_o Oh well.Silver seren 01:37, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, I meant for accepting. Something like "This User has accepted adoption by Exampleuser" or something like that. No matter though. Here's yours. ^_^Silver seren 02:45, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Working on Paleontologists

I'm starting to work on the paleontologist stubs that are left. There are quite a few actually. At the moment, i've finished Carl Albert Oppel and i'm planning to move onto someone else. Yeah, I know its not the greatest, but I can't find anything else on him.

By the way, I found a picture of him in the Wikimedia Commons, but I don't know how to find the code for the picture, so I can put it on the page. Do you?Silver seren 17:35, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

I could have sworn I did sign it. Sorry. ^_^; And thanks. Silver seren 17:36, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Hmm...for some reason I can't resize it. Maybe i'm putting something in wrong? Here's the image link: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Albert_Oppel_%281831%E2%80%931865%29.jpg Silver seren 18:41, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! It works perfectly.Silver seren 21:03, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Whoopee, i'm going senile at the old age of 16. ^_^; I can't find the page that listed the paleontologist stubs and I remember being on it before. Maybe its with the Biography project? I'll go look. Edit: I found it. It was under the Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Science and academia. Silver seren 00:42, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I realized that after I found the page. Don't you hate it when you find out something and you don't need it anymore? Anyways, i'm just going to look through the stubs and find the ones that need the most work first. Then i'll move up through the rest of them. After they have enough information to be passable, i'll try to get some of them upgraded to start-class.Silver seren 01:16, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

? O_o For what?Silver seren 01:17, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Really? Thats strange. You would think people would want to work on stubs because they are the easiest things to work on, in having the least information. Its harder to find anything to put in other kinds of articles, because most things have already been added.

Oh, I also decided to work on Zhao Xijin. He seems like an interesting person to work on, especially with my affiliation with China through Academic Decathlon. (See my page) Silver seren 01:22, 29 April 2007 (UTC)‎

Hmm....I suppose I can tell you. My high school is Frisco High School. I was wondering if I should tell you this, but its not like someone can't figure out who I am through what I have on my page anyways.

Edit:And it seems that you don't really care if people know you either. (I just saw your About Me page)Silver seren 01:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

You hope....Silver seren 15:35, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dinosaur Classification

Wow...it seems I have more work ahead of me than I thought. Look at the Dinosaur classification page and all of the red links. I suppose i'll have to get to those eventually too.Silver seren 00:37, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

...well, I knew that already, but I forgot to do it. ^_^;Silver seren 00:56, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
thats why I created a new section. Lowers the confusion. Btw, look at this! http://ravenel.si.edu/paleo/paleoglot/files/Young&Zhao_72.pdf Silver seren 00:59, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Yep, this is definitely going to help me get the page up and running.Silver seren 01:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
I am whacking my head against the wall right now because the stupid classification page had the wrong family. They had Mamenchisauridae, when its Mamenchisaurinae.

Meanwhile, Mamenchisauridae=Euhelopodidae, a page already created. This makes me mad...Silver seren 01:22, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

What do you mean?Silver seren 01:32, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh...well, it was just something I noticed. It makes me mad though because a majority of my research is now worthless. Most of it is now for Euhelopodidae, which already has all of the information. So I have to get new information for the different sub-family. *sigh*Silver seren 01:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ack, Chastisement

Well...I was right and I was wrong. I was right about Mamenchisauridae equaling Euhelopodidae, but....it seems that neither Mamenchisauridae or Mamenchisaurinae are used anymore.

Of all the people who had to correct me, why did it have to be Firsfron? T_TSilver seren 01:58, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

I guess not. I don't like being wrong :( I have to go. Night!Silver seren 02:01, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry

Sorry I haven't been on for a while. Real life seemed to catch up to me. I'm still slightly busy, but i'm using Wiki enough for my AcDec projects that i'll be on here pretty often. When I find the time, which means after I finish a section of my project for the day, i'll work on some edits for Wiki. Right now i'm working on Bruce Erickson (paleontologist) Silver seren 18:03, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

I was wondering if you were ever going to respond...o_o; But now you did. ^_^Silver seren 12:56, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:CVU status

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! [edit] Mwuwahaha!!!

My userpage has...evolved...O_O

Only thanks to Kkrouni though. He's awesome at the stuff.SilverserenC 20:42, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi I'm Kkrouni! Yes I do snoop through other's edit counts. Hey you can copy from my page too. I did that to his page as an attack, I'm booked up on getting an article to featured though.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 20:45, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
