[edit] Speedy deletion of Ahh falls
A tag has been placed on Ahh falls, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Ahh falls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

[edit] February 2008
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ahh falls, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. [edit] Response
Welcome to Wikipedia!
I was flagging the page quickly because I was patrolling through the list of new pages when I came across it. Once I tag something as a candidate for speedy deletion, I put it on my watchlist so I will be notified of any changes to it. I do that because some users put up blatant vandalism pages (such as attacks, utter nonsense, etc.), then either constantly delete the speedy tags or recreate the page repeatedly.
I don't believe you were aiming for vandalism, but the page you created doesn't have any content to it other than the picture. That's not going to meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I'll put up a welcome tag at the top of your page with some helpful links. If the falls in the picture are notable and you can demonstrate that with some references, you might be able to create a more robust page that would stay up. - Not a problem. Good luck! Gromlakh (talk) 00:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- The biggest problem you're going to run into is that, based on what you've told me, it's probably not notable. Wikipedia's not really for the creation of original material. Something has to be notable first, then Wikipedia gets an article on it. You'll need to have reliable, third-party sources to cite to. If the Enchanted Gardens haven't been reported on by anyone outside of a couple of small local papers...I'm not sure that's going to meet the inclusion guidelines. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
