Help requests

{{helpme}} ok. i see. but i dont get what it means. what am i supposed to do?

thanks --Chris funk bass (talk) 05:01, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

You should contest the block with {{unblock|your reason here}}. BoL (Talk) 05:10, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

{{helpme}} you can delete those accounts. i will not use any anymore. i was just confused and angry at why wikipedia would refuse a musician like that. so i tried to do it otherways. can i get unblocked?

thanks --Chris funk bass (talk) 04:58, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Follow the procedure in the link I gave you. I will not unblock you, however you may attempt to get another admin to do so. Incidentally, we cannot delete accounts due to copyright reasons. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:59, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

also, the sockpuppet acounts i created to prove the notability of Chris Frangou are now unused and retired. I now know this concept called sockpuppetry and i will not continue to do so. how do i get this ban lifted?

thank you

--Chris funk bass (talk) 04:51, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

I just blocked another of your socks a few minutes ago. As long as you continue to use these accounts, your block will not be lifted. However, see WP:UNBLOCK for directions. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:53, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, i have continually tried to prove that the subject Chris Frangou is notable but wikipedia still refuses to except it. The subject is now blocked. How can i prove that it is notable. I have provided reliable sources in the past and i have also checked the criteria of notabiliy and it passes all criteria.

thanks

--Chris funk bass (talk) 04:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

How is he notable? This may be of help. BoL (Talk) 04:48, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
You may also want to look at the deletion log and also review our sockpuppetry policy for why you and your other accounts are blocked. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:49, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "i do not use any sockpuppet acounts any more. i did not fully understand the problem with doing so."

Decline reason: "Looking at the contributions of one of your sockpuppets today, I don't believe you intend to contribute constructively. See here, where you continue to insist that "Chris" is notable even after "Chris" has been reviewed/discussed so much that recreation is prevented. You then lied, and blamed the block of your IP on someone else, see here. I also don't believe you when you say that you didn't understand what sockpuppetry is. After creating 14 other accounts, why do you think they were being blocked and tagged as sockpuppets? At this point I think you would say anything to get unblocked to keep pushing "Chris": — KnightLago (talk) 01:53, 17 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Hi Chris, someone will be around to review your block. You will need to demonstrate, however, that as well as the admitted sockpuppetry (which you lied about constantly) you need to understand that writing autobiographies such as Chris Frangou and articles on non-notable topics such as John Smith Quintet repaetedly after warnings is not acceptable. Further, adding fake references, as you have done in nearly everyone of your articles, does not fool anyone. -- Mattinbgn\talk 01:34, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

{{helpme}} I still do beleive that Chris Frangou and John Smith Quintet is notable and will prove that they BOTH meet wikipedia criteria. Why would i try to create a page on something that isnt notable? Whats the point?

This has been explained to you several times. If you continue to abuse your editing rights on this page, it will be protected from editing. Please review the guidelines we've given you, carefully, and stop asking the same questions over and over again. Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
