Gibraltarian real
I've now established that quarto was a common name for the 4 maravadíes coin (though it must mean quarter as the 2 maravadíes coin was called an ochavo) so I've gone ahead and put a summary of what you've found in the article. Please take a look at what's now there and edit as you see fit. Thanks once more for ferreting out so much.

Greetings!! I'd like to welcome you to WikiProject Numismatics. Anything you see that can be improved upon, go for it, anything that is lacking add it, anything that is all together absent, please fill us in. There are quite a few knowledgeable people of both numismatics and wikipedia, in this little project, so don't hesitate to ask. Please be sure to read through the whole of the project pages, as we have just recently started using some of them. Again, welcome.

Easter Proclamation
Hi, Chris. You recently added a header to the Easter Proclamation article saying that it can also be used to refer to the Catholic hymn Exultet. Strangely, though, when I read the Exultet article, the word "proclamation" doesn't appear anywhere. Surely if it's known as the Easter Proclamation this should be stated in the opening paragraph? It's not really my field so I don't want to edit it myself. Scolaire 12:20, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, and thank you for your comment, I had not noticed the fact the Easter Proclamation did not appear on the Exultet article, I have therefore gone ahead and mentioned it in the article's introduction, along with a reference. As I noted in the article's talk page, a cursory Google search corroborates the usage of the term Easter Proclamation to denote to the hymn. Kind regards, Chris Buttigieg 14:59, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, that reads much better, and with a reference too! Well done Scolaire 16:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Breed 77
Hi Chris Buttigieg! I have just seen the tags you have added to the article Breed 77. I have contributed to Breed 77 related articles for the past couple of months and I agree that they need revising. Just to let you know that I am up for improving the main article. However, I am going to be extremely busy for the next month but I will hopefully get onto it buy the end of May. Gibmetal77 16:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- That's ok, I was just perusing through some of the Gibraltar related articles and I noticed that there were a couple of things which needed clearing up - even some seemingly trivial things that degrade the article. I will try and help out as much as I can with it even though it's not really my sphere of knowledge. You can remove the tags (so it will look a bit more applealing!) if you see fit , I just added them to point it out. Best wishes Chris Buttigieg 14:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- I totally agree with you, it definately needs serious revising. Thanks I'd appreciate any contributions you can make to the article. I think I'm going to leave the tags in the article just incase someone else sees them and is willing to help improve the article, if that's fine with you. On another note not concerning Breed 77, thanks for including the article Gibraltar Barbary Macaques in the Flora and Fauna section :) Gibmetal77 17:56, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Gibraltar
Hi "Pisha", I would like to know what you think about the changes made at Kingdom of Gibraltar and Coat of arms of Gibraltar we have been messing around. Cheers, --Maurice27 18:28, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it is much better know and it's very interesting, thank you for your time. Chris Buttigieg 20:22, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Gibraltar userbox
Hi Chris, just to let you know that a userbox for users living in Gibraltar already exists if you so wish to use it. This is it here Template:User Lives Gibraltar just type the following in your user page if you prefer it {{User Lives Gibraltar}} :) Gibmetal77 12:03, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- I saw it some time ago but never got round to using it, I couldn't remember exactly where I saw it. Many thanks for letting me know about it though :p Chris Buttigieg 17:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- No problem whatsoever, I am glad to be of help :) Gibmetal77 23:06, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Barbary Macaque photograph
Hey there. I was wondering, do you have a larger version (or the original image) of the Gibraltar Barbary Macaque (ZENE0119.jpg) photo you took? It's a really fantastic image, and I'd like to nominate it for featured picture status, though my only concern is the image dimensions. ♠ SG →Talk 22:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks. I've gone ahead and nominated your image over at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Gibraltar Barbary Macaque. ♠ SG →Talk 17:45, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- There are no rules against it, but when you vote for your own image, you should provide a good explanation for it, as is often the case with users Fir0002 and Diliff. But then again, they usually nominate their own pictures. So, in short, go for it, but state that you are the photographer foremost. ♠ SG →Talk 22:33, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey Chris, I've just added the pic to WP:GIB. Sorry it's taken a while for someone to do so. Gibmetal 77talk 08:42, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent thanks! I didn't even realise there was a heading there. I left a message in the WP:GIB talk page, but no one replied - the project seems rather inactive doesn't it. Chris Buttigiegtalk 11:49, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, I actually added a heading for it. I know, nothing has been done really; maybe we can do something about it... Gibmetal 77talk 12:22, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Stargate
Hi. The merging of the characters was agreed long ago and now it was finalized. See project talk. --Tone 21:52, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

I just saw the edits you made to your userpage and was sad to see I was only your Wiki Friend for 1 minute... :( Gibmetal 77talk 11:49, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hehe, I changed my mind for some reason after about 30 seconds. I am always picky about userboxes you see. But I think these ones are coming back again. Chris Buttigiegtalk 11:56, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yay! I've just added you too. Gibmetal 77talk 13:28, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

re: Skitt's law
Was that aimed at me?
I only spot mistakes I see. I've never said I don't make them myself! My user page actually says this.
If it was aimed at the red hat of whatever he's called, then I think that's a fair criticism! Biofoundationsoflanguage 18:44, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, no, not at you. I just thought I would pop into the conversation because after all, Skitt's law works in most cases! Chris Buttigieg 18:56, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
