I plan on graduating from high school in PA Cyber. My career choice is a commercial airline pilot. If I do attend college, I will either go to Western Michigan University, the University of North Dakota, or the United States Air Force.

[edit] Background
I am a profound airplane geek, and have been from a very young age. My mother was a gate agent for Northwest Airlines at Pittsburgh International Airport (then Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, the old terminal), and I would sometimes go to work with her as a little toddler in the back room. After several years, she transfered to a flight attendant position based in Detroit, Michigan. Taking advantage of the travel benefits available, I've flown quite a bit, mainly to Kansas City and Yecheon, South Korea.
Although my mother is no longer an employee at the airline, I still travel to Kansas City every summer alone, as been tradition since 2000. I have flown as a pilot twice in a Cessna 172, and plan on taking flying lessons next summer.

[edit] Microsoft Flight Simulator
Flight Simulator is one of my favorite games, and definitely a program I can't live without. I first started flying in FS with FS2000 with no joystick. Even though the setup was crappy, as well as the skills, I got hooked.
After several years in hiatus, I bought FS9 when it came out in 2003, along with a joystick, the Saitek X45. This is the version where my editing roots started to grow. I first started painting in 2005, a Northwest Orient A320-200 using Mike Stone's model.
2006 brought FSX with it, and I got it for Christmas that year. The joystick was replaced with an X52 after the old X45 broke to the point of non-repairable condition. Around the summer of 2007, I made the switch to FSX from FS9, ending a 3 1/2-year era of FS9.
[edit] Virtual Airline
I joined a virtual airline, Gateway Airlines, in 2003. It was a mishap, as I didn't know what I was getting into, and submitted the form by mistake. I later joined my current VA, SimAirline.net, a month later in 2004.
The end of 2005 also brought another point in my VA carrier-a position as Aircraft Developer, painting aircraft when needed for the assortment of airlines in the VA. I resigned from the position in the Fall of 2006 after almost a full year in service.
[edit] Counter Strike: Source
I got CS:S in the summer of '06. For the first few weeks, I played with the bots alone (later deeming them as they are as stupid bots that don't know a thing about combat except dying). I then started browsing the numerous servers for a real challenge. They were all filled with porn and profanity, and definitely weren't a welcoming place. I found The Christian Crew, a Christian clan that I am a proud member of. I joined the clan the next year, and rapidly joined the ranks as a full-blown member with <CC>< tags.
[edit] Pittsburgh Air
[edit] The Concept Airline
Pittsburgh Air will be a commuter airline operating Cessna 208B Grand Caravans from Allegheny County Airport to various cities in the Tri-State area, including Pittsburgh International Airport, Latrobe, PA, Wheeling, WV, and Youngstown, OH, just to name a few. It's geared toward connecting the smaller communities with larger airports and cities, especially those under EAS status.
[edit] The Virtual Airline
Pittsburgh Air was a virtual airline that never got off the ground. Due to management conflicts and lives to live, it dissolved with nothing but a fleet and a free website. The Caravan was not in the fleet, and the VA looked nothing like my concept airline.
[edit] Livery
The livery consisted of a gray belly, a thick, olive green line, and three thinner, red bands above the green strip. The tail, as well as the rest of the fuselage, was plain white. The engines were similar to the fuselage, with the exception of it mainly being gray, the stripes going vertical, and a little bit of white just enough to make it not look like a strip.
[edit] The Concept Airline in the Virtual World
Today, Pittsburgh Air is still a concept airline, but does have a fleet painted for use in Flight Simulator. The version of today is not a virtual airline, and has nothing to do with the virtual airline previously mentioned. The fleet includes the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan. The version of today is also the concept airline, only with the addition of the B1900D and aircraft painted in FS so I can fly around as a pilot of my own airline.
[edit] Livery
The livery represents Pittsburgh, with a Welcome Crest (the seal of the city of Pittsburgh with the words "Welcome Aboard Pittsburgh Air") next to the boarding door and checkered black and gold lining the top of the black tail. The belly is black, with a gold trim and white body. Each aircraft is named after a city, borough, or township in the Pittsburgh vicinity with any city-like reference removed. For example, "Township" "...ville", "...olis", "...burg", etc. are removed.
[edit] Religion
I am a non-denominational Protestant Christian. I attend Christ Church at Grove Farm in Sewickley, and have been since 2005. Previously, I've attended Pittsburgh Korean Assembly of God from 1993-2005 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
[edit] "The Tech Guy"
I am a visual tech volunteer. My main task is projecting the lyrics and supporting slides on the four projectors in the sanctuary, but also may run lights and edit slides. I started out projecting transparencies for the youth group at Pittsburgh Korean Assembly of God, later moving up to the sanctuary for the English and bilingual services. After three months attending Christ Church, I have been in the same position for the 8:00 AM service and when called. Today, I run both 9:00 and 11:00 services on most Sundays and as needed, as well as [six.thirtythree] on Wednesday nights at 6:33 PM, the youth program.
When I am not working in the tech booth, I can be found either recording the sermons in the recording station, running the resource center, or other odd jobs.
[edit] Cycling
[edit] The Bicycle
I own a Trek 7300 hybrid equipped with two bottle holders, panniers (attached to a rack on the rear wheel), forward and rear lights, and side view mirrors on either side. Its main use is transportation and exercise.
[edit] Destinations
Mainly, I'll ride within Coraopolis, but other common destinations include:
Moon Twp.
Sewickley, Pennsylvania
Sewickley Heights, Pennsylvania
Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania
Neville Township, Pennsylvania
Frequent user of the Montour Trail, and have covered 27 miles of it from Mile 0.0.
Furthest destinations include Ambridge, Pennsylvania, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, and Cecil-Bishop, Pennsylvania.
All destinations are in Allegheny County, with the exception of Ambridge and Aliquippa, which are in Beaver County, and Cecil-Bishop, which is in Washington County.
[edit] Winter Ops
I do ride in the winter, but not as much as when it's warmer. As long as the roads are free from slush and ice, I'll go. Generally, I'll stay within the Coraopolis area during the cold season and not go as fast as normal to reduce wind.
