Christian Furr (born 24 September 1966), is the youngest artist to have officially painted Queen Elizabeth II. He was born in Wirral, England. Furr was commissioned to paint the Queen in 1995 by the Royal Overseas League in London after the Queen chose him from a number of artists. The portrait was completed at Buckingham Palace, He has also painted the Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor for Westminster Cathedral in 2002. Robinsons commissioned the artist to mark 70 years on Centre Court last in 2005. He drew the initial outline on a huge canvas that was completed by the queuing public at Wimbledon. He has appeared on several British television shows including Richard & Judy. Furr was awarded the Association of Colleges Gold Award (2004) at the House of Commons given to further education alumni who have gone on to achieve excellence in their chosen field.

His work has been displayed in the National Portrait Gallery, and Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
