My current interests are pretty diverse:

• Building PHP/MySQL websites got myself and for work. I am completely self-taught and don't claim to be a graphic designer but I can build pretty complex sites with user authentication etc.
• Entomology - especially the study of the UK Tachinidae and entomological surveying of sites. I help coordinate the UK Tachinid Recording Scheme with my colleague Matt Smith - see our site at http://tachinidae.org.uk/
• Digital photography - mainly wildlife but anything that takes my fancy - see my photo gallery.
• Wardening at Hartslock nature reserve, a chalk downland hill in south Oxfordshire (England) with superb views over the River Thames and a huge variety or rare and interesting wildlife.
• Tarantula spiders - I currently have 20 at various sizes - purely for my own interest, not for scaring friends!
