Welcome to my user page. I'm ChrisO, an administrator on the English Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Commons.
I've been a Wikipedian since October 2003 and an administrator since February 2004 (when Wikipedia was much smaller than it is now), so I suppose I could be called one of the old-timers.
I edit a wide range of topics, but the ones I keep finding myself coming back to tend to be those relating to the Balkans, classical antiquity and contemporary politics. I also have an eye for the ridiculous, which you can see in some of the article's I've edited! I've also been involved over the years in developing various aspects of Wikipedia policy and guidelines; Wikipedia:Naming conflict is one of mine, for instance.

My other contributions can be seen here.
For your work on scientology and NPOV in passionate national disputes I Secretlondon am amazed that you've never previously been awarded a barnstar (KC)
