[edit] Gay Icon Project

In my effort to merge the now-deleted list from the article Gay icon to the Gay icons category, I have added this page to the category. I engaged in this effort as a "human script", adding everyone from the list to the category, bypassing the fact-checking stage. That is what I am relying on you to do. Please check the article Gay icon and make a judgment as to whether this person or group fits the category. By distributing this task from the regular editors of one article to the regular editors of several articles, I believe that the task of fact-checking this information can be expedited. Thank you very much. Philwelch 22:18, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Pop Culture

I think she deserves a little more pop culture notice. I know that Samford University, a Baptist college in Alabama, once used her face on the cover of their Facebook. I believe it was in 2000. That particular Facebook it became a national joke for a small time - Letterman mentioned it. (The prankster had a collage of photos forming her face, which - upon much inspection, no doubt - proved to be pornographic photos). --Spesek 03:26, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Campaign Poster Not a Valid Biographical Image

The use of a PETA poster for Christy's biographical image is inappropriate and attempting to use wikipedia for political purposes. Sacredhands —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 16:24, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Turlington's face looks like that in the horror movie. I think it's better not to put that one and move the PETA poster to her modeling career. (Number1spygirl 00:14, 21 September 2007 (UTC))
