[edit] Role in founding Reading Public Museum

This article states that Shearer "instrumental in the founding of the Reading Public Museum"; however, the museum's own website does not make mention of Shearer at all. Agent 86 04:56, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

That line should probably be reworded. Shearer was an important figure in Reading and was good friends with the founder. As the first art curator he aquired much of the Museums collection from that period of time. User: Blshear
