Misc

  • I've reverted some simple vandalism to the page. XanFan 19:42, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Fascist?

I've reverted the sentence calling Dodd a fascist. This is pretty clearly not neutral. It is only your opinion that gun control is fascism--it is not a fact. Therefore, it should not be included in the article.

Also, please be aware of the three-revert rule. Essentially, you're not allowed to revert a single article more than three times in a day. Just fair warning.

Again, please make sure that you clearly distinguish between facts and opinions when editing. Thanks, Meelar (talk) 18:03, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

Please answer the following questions from a NPOV, as opposed to a MRPOV (Morally relative point of view):
Is the sky blue?
Do the stars shine?
Is grass green?
Is George Bush an evangelical christian?
Were Nazis fascist?
Do tyrannical governments always impose gun control?
Is someone who sponsors legislation originally authored by Nazis himself a fascist?
Is there a difference between having an open mind and having one so open that one's brains fall out?Mlorrey 18:20, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
Hitler built the Autobahn. Eisenhower built the U.S. Interstate Highway system. Does that make Ike a fascist? Of course not. This is silly. Firebug 16:25, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
I have seen friends who only wanted to exercise their constitutional rights gunned down by jack booted storm troopers. I know what is and is not fascism. Fascism is state dictation of what private property owners can do with their property. Are you declaring that the Roosevelt/Truman/Eisenhower era *wasn't* fascist? Over 60% of GDP went to national defense and/or socialist welfare programs during most of that period. My questions above were an attempt to learn from Meelar what his/her opinion of proper NPOV language should be. Mlorrey 20:21, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Dodd is a pansy Castro sympathizer

If he became President, our country would go to hell fast. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 59.20.52.144 (talk) 08:35, 20 January 2007 (UTC).

very insightful. thank you for that rich and intelligent political commentary. 67.105.187.10 23:09, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Its true, he votes against our 2nd amendment rights and he says he is for the people. How can you be for the people and against their rights? Call me crazy, but I live in America where the final law of the land is the constitution and bill of rights. But how can someone run for president and vote against the constitution. Also he is against America’s involvement in Iraq. Does he not like Americans? I say he hates them. He's even damaged doughnuts from dunkin' donuts, a major american landmark.

Waitress Sandwich

Surely there is a way to report this infamous episode without breaching guidelines or becoming libellous -- it is covered in multiple magazines.....? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.183.206.130 (talk) 19:07, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

Bianca Jagger

Someone who knows Wikipedia better than I should add his relationship with Bianca Jagger to the page. See the Bianca Jagger article and many other references easily available with a Google search. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.160.109.194 (talk) 07:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC).

Dodd Pod

Not sure too many people are watching this talk page but the recently created Dodd Pod should definitely be merged into this article. Pascal.Tesson 23:06, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I move that the Dodd Pod should NOT be merged with the Chris Dodd entry. The Dodd Pod is far to important a device to merely exists within another article; it deserves one of its own. The Dodd Pod is a separate entity, and we should treat it as such.

I just rewrote and merged it. Cheers. HausTalk 12:39, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
