(Comment from a Filipino: I've lived in the Philippines all my life and I've always thought that "Simbang Gabi" meant the midnight mass on Dec. 24. And this is the first time I've heard of the term "Misas de Aguinaldo".)

Might I suggest emphasizing that this is held on Christmas Eve, rather than the specific time that is midnight? --Sofimi 17:10, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually the meal is done either exactly or after midnight, so technically it's on the 25th already. --Howard the Duck 16:12, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Pamamasko / "Namamasko po" section? In the Christmas Day section it says: "Aguinaldo or money in the form of crisp, fresh-from-the-bank bills is given after the Pagmamano, most usually to younger children." However, I think asking for/receiving aguinaldo is no longer exclusively done on Christmas Day. The term Pamamasko was not used in that section either, though it is also used to describe the money given to carolers (Caroling section). So maybe one can discuss pamamasko in general in its own section.--Sofimi 17:18, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
