Picture shown is post healing on a good piercing. Area should be shaved before piercing...Also I recommend a straight barbell be the correct length and bent to fit individual, as all womens anatomy and shapes are different. I hear that in fact, straight barbell induce a higher risk of rejection and that surface barbells are preferable. The image shows a surface barbell. Rama 23:05, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

Ew. can we get a better picture? one that's more attractive? ~_^ 24.5.125.232 05:20, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Attractiveness is not relevant reason to get a better picture - I think most genital piercing images should have shaved/trimmed pubic hair, if it makes the placement difficult to see, but right now this image is all we've got. You're more than welcome to submit one of your own Christina piercing, or take an image of a "more attractive" one and post it to Wikipedia if you'd like. Glowimperial 17:38, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

What exactly is 'ew' about it? Pubic hair is perfectly natural, NOT having any pubic hair is unnatural. And who is to define what is or is not attractive anyway? -Anon

You're kidding, right? Pubic hair may be natural, but it also traps bacteria. Why would you pierce something and let it turn into a swamp?
