[edit] Papal envoys
We seem to have a dispute on whether to include the names of the companions of the papal envoy, Lawrence of Portugal. PHG says one thing, citing Roux.[1] Aramgar says another, citing Rachewiltz.[2] I don't currently have access to either source, but my recommendation is that we remove the disputed information. It's not that useful to this particular article, and is of a level of detail that isn't needed. Please take the dispute to Talk:Lawrence of Portugal and work it out there, not here. --Elonka 07:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Merge
- This article, Christianity in Asia was created by PHG (talk ยท contribs) on December 4, 2007.
- Another article, Roman Catholicism in Asia was also created by PHG, on February 2, 2008
Though I think the overall topic is definitely worthy of an article, upon review, the articles appear to be near duplicates of each other. I therefore recommend that "Roman Catholicism in Asia" be merged into "Christianity in Asia", and the old title can be setup as a redirect. Anyone have an opinion on this? --Elonka 06:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] China
I was surprised to see that this article does not yet have a section for Christianity in China. I've added it as a "seealso" for now, but we should definitely include a summary section on it. --Elonka 06:23, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
