I would consider his Violin Concerto a major work. Within the confines of a late Romantic aesthetic, it is rather original,in my view. A shame that it is not better known (that is, performed) though there is a beautiful Oslo orchestra recording and a quite good Naxos one. Nonetheless, even a few American know how good that concerto is. Norfolk 16:08, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
