[edit] Tithing

I have added a section on tithing using information I have learnt through attending CCC Oxford Falls for a year.

[edit] Sections

I have rearranged the programs section so they are all together and removed the empty titles. Makes more sense now. --Paradox CT 08:00, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Criticisim

I have to disagree with the criticisms posted, without references, these claims seem baseless. As a member of a similar CCC church i understand that CCC is far different from a cult as a cult is mostly based on religious ritual and tradition where as CCC churches are based on creating an environment that is welcoming to all and does not enforce rituals and traditions. Many of CCC's practices (such as rock bands playing worship, tithing, salvation altar calls ect) are widely accepted and used by Christian churches of all denominations and styles and do not suggest that the church is a cult. Teachings are baised on the same bible as every other Christian church from orthodox to new age. I will edit this section unless suitable citations are provided, but i believe these claims of the church being similar to a cult are hardly appropriate.--Paradox CT 10:50, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree. There is a place for a Criticism section, but these points have no citations and apparently no support in fact. My fact tags that I placed were removed without any facts being provided. Even the Hillsong article doesn't get marked as a cult. You have my support to edit this criticism section heavily. peterl 21:04, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Charismatic Christianity

I have added this to the above project because Oxford Falls CCC is a Charismatic church. tmjsmith 15:04, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:CccLogo.gif

Image:CccLogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
