I really wanted to add the following line, but I was unable to find 2 sources with this information. If anyone can verify that he did receive this medal, please feel free to add that information.
"He was out of high-school for one month when he was given the highest award given to civilians – the Congressional Gold Medal in Washington, D.C. in June 2002."

- It was wrong. He got the Congressional Award gold medal, which is different than the Congressional Gold Medal. I've fixed that and cited a source. --Craig Stuntz 17:14, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
