I don't like the phrase "creative fulcrum", it is an unnecessarily complex way of expressing his role in "Six By Seven". Suppose we stripped down the word and said "creative pivot", this sounds a bit silly doesn't it? It is also ambiguous and to a non-traditional English speaker and could be quite confusing. So, if there are no objections I will change it to:

He is the lead singer and guitarist for Six By Seven and is also the bands primary creative influence.
