Harris's father Peter "Zin" Harris was also a New Zealand international player, and his brother Ben Harris has played at first-class level.

His full name on cricketarchive and cricinfo is Chris Zinzan Harris rather than Christopher Zinzan Harris. --Jpeeling 14:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
