[edit] Autobiography allegation
It appears that this article is an autobiography. It has one editor and reads like a press release.
Please discuss here any reasons why I might be incorrect. Otherwise, please see WP:AUTO.

[edit] This is NOT an autobiography
I am the initial editor, and I am NOT Chris Carter. I am a freelance music critic, and have written about the subject elsewhere. If you'd clicked on any of the links, you'd have discovered that I also wrote the Wikipedia entry on Dramarama, Chris's former band. I have also written reviews on the band's material (which would seem to comply with the "published elsewhere" requirement); these may be accessed by clicking the links provided in the Dramarama article. Also, anyone is welcome to chime in. What am I supposed to do...tell all my friends I wrote it and have them all stop by and make an edit or two in order to prove it's not an autobiography?
I am going to delete the Autobiography flag on the article's main page. Thank you.
- Hi
- The article is very well written. Unfortunately, it seems sort of PRish and autobiographical. That, combined with the fact that your previous edits are restricted to Chris Carter related articles led me to believe that this was indeed autobiography.
- I certainly could be wrong, though.
- I added the tag in order to attract the Wikipedia community here to discuss the possibilities. Please don't delete the tag again until some sort of final consensus or determination has been reached.
- Thanks,

- Scratch that. After reading those reviews, I can now see that this article is not autobiographical. Sorry for the inconvenience. I only hope that when I hit it big someone will spend weeks slaving away on an article for me.
- With apologies, 68.183.117.74 09:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] No problem!
What can I say; I'm a fan. I highly recommend you check out Dramarama's music! - schneile, 16 June 2006
PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FACTS:
Chris Carter did not do the music supervision for "Factory Girl." Bloggerboy
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Dramarama circa 1989.jpg
Image:Dramarama circa 1989.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
