He actually started before 1995. Back in '93, he was part of Hundred Monkeys (I'm not 100 percent on that, could have been A Hundred Monkeys, 100Monkeys, etc), and did some demos and rave promotions. I remember playing one of the songs, Phlox, when I was a DJ at the University of Georgia student radio station. He also dated one of my close friends. Ah, good times.

There's a video on YouTube which appears to feature visuals from Ghost in the Shell, to the tune of "King of My Castle." I would have assumed this was a fan-made video, as with so many on YouTube, but a number of people in the comments are insisting this was the real video, that they saw it on MTV, etc. Ghost in the Shell seems to confirm this, although it doesn't provide any references.
