Chronicle of Dalimil

The Chronicle of Dalimil or Chronicle of so called Dalimil (Czech: Dalimilova kronika; Kronika tak řečeného Dalimila) is the first chronicle written in Czech language. It was created in verses by unknown author at the begin of 14th century. The Chronicle compiles information of older Czech chronicles written in Latin and also author's own experiences. The chronicle finishes before 1314, but is usually published including the entries of later authors describing the events till 1319.
