[edit] Personal life

Born to an Armenian-American father and an Italian American mother, Canyon grew up in California's San Fernando Valley.

[edit] Adult film career

Canyon appeared in nearly 200 adult films. Canyon has won several "best female performance" awards and is a member of the XRCO Hall of Fame. She retired from (and returned to) the adult business several times. She is known for her natural 44DD breasts.

In a 2005 interview on Taylor Wane's radio show, Canyon stated that although on-camera she had protected sex (with condoms) with all of her male co-stars during her time with Vivid Entertainment in the mid 1990s, this was definitely not something she practiced in her private life. Canyon stated that she engaged in unprotected sex with every one of her male co-stars off camera, prior to their filmed sex scenes.[1] In her personal life, Canyon has dated comedian Robin Williams, Max Baer, Jr., directors John Frankenheimer and Adam Rifkin, and Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.[2] As of 2008, she currently works on Sirius Satellite Radio's Playboy Radio. • Holly Does Hollywood (1985)
  • Billionaire Girls Club (1988)
  • Star 90 (1990)

[edit] Retirement

Canyon retired and returned to films several times during her career, mainly due to changes in her marital status. Currently, she is retired from performing in films, but still has an adult-related career, concentrating on her web site, working as a host for Playboy Radio, and selling merchandise on eBay. In 2003, she published her autobiography: Lights, Camera, Sex (ISBN 0-9727470-0-1). In November 2005, she appeared as a judge on the first episode of Jenna's American Sex Star.[4]
