Christopher Showerman

Christopher Showerman (born June 24, 1971 in Jackson, Michigan) is an American actor. Born and raised in Michigan, Showerman embarked on an acting career after school - he attended Michigan State University, where he majored in music - and moved to Hollywood to pursue that dream. After a couple of bit parts in films like Starship Troopers (1997) and Best in Show (2002), Showerman finally won a lead role in a film - Dumped was released in 2000.
In 2003, Showerman was chosen to star as George of the Jungle in the Disney sequel George of the Jungle 2 after Brendan Fraser declined. Since then he has appeared on TV series like The OC and CSI Miami, and the feature Sea of Fear.
Showerman, based in Los Angeles, currently runs a production company with Australian writer/producer Clint Morris. Among the projects they have in the works is a supernatural western called Between the Sand and the Sky, and a horror film, Rampage. He next appears in the thriller Big Game.
