Christopher Pizzey

Christopher Pizzey is a British actor who was born in London. One of his longest roles on TV is on the Children's BBC series The Basil Brush Show from 2002-2006 when he and other characters were replaced with slightly different characters. He is the younger brother of colourist Rob Pizzey.[1]

Pizzey's first noticeable appearance was as Keith in episode 11.9 of TV series London's Burning. His next appearance was as Busyboy in the Doc Martin TV series. He then appeared in the UK film Anomaly[2] in 2005 as Captain Dale Waxman.

His most notable appearance was as Basil Brush's sidekick Mr Stephen in the 2002 remake of the classic Basil Brush show. He appeared from series one to series four as one of the four main characters who all lived in the same flat and dealt with humorous issues such as girlfriends, boyfriends, jobs and so on. This show is regularly repeated on the CBBC Channel.

He has also appeared in the UK TV soap Eastenders as the character of Andy in a 2006 episode and the Roman Mysterious episode of The Pirates of Pompeii (2007) as the character of Actius for one episode along with an appearance in the BBC daytime drama Doctors in May 2007.

He has been recently featured in the newest Carlsberg advert

Christopher is currently filming his first feature film which is due for release at the end of 2008.
