Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse (born June 20, 1989) is an American actor who debuted as Fogell/"McLovin" in the 2007 comedy Superbad.

Born in Los Angeles, California,[1] he had no acting experience other than drama classes in school before appearing in Superbad. He attended El Camino Real High School from 2003 to 2007. Mintz-Plasse was cast in the role of Fogell after auditioning with two high school friends.[2] He had no professional head shots before the audition and just took a head shot with his camera phone.[3]

Mintz-Plasse was tutored on set, then went back to school for two months before graduating.[4] His mother was required by law to be on set while filming his sex scene because he was only 17 years old at the time of filming.[5] Mintz-Plasse will next appear opposite Paul Rudd in the David Wain film Little Big Men, and is performing voiceover work for the animated film How to Train Your Dragon.[6]

In 2008, he had a cameo on Jimmy Kimmel Live singing in the chorus during the segment "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck". Chris also appeared in internet PSAs for voting and for Night of Too Many Stars. Chris made his first talk show appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show back in late July 2007. Chris has also appeared in a youtube video known as the "Teabag Incident", where he and his friends illustrate the dangers of teabaging.
