Christopher F. Droney

Christopher F. Droney (b. 1954, Hartford, Connecticut) is a Federal Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He has served on the court from 1997 to the present. Judge Droney was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton on June 5, 1997, to a seat vacated by Alan H. Nevas, confirmed by the Senate on September 11, 1997, and received his commission on September 18, 1997. He received a B.A. from Holy Cross College in 1976 and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1979.
