Christopher Elstub

Christopher John Elstub is a first class cricketer who played 7 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 2000 and 2002 as a right handed lower order batsman and right arm medium pacer. He scored a total of 34 runs, with his best an unbeaten 18, and with 7 not outs in 9 innings his average is a flattering 17. He took 11 wickets at 38.27 with a best of 3 for 37. In 10 list A one day matches for Yorkshire and the Bradford/Leeds UCCE he took 12 wickets at 24.16 with 4 for 25 his best performance.

He was born in Dewsbury, Yorkshire on February 3rd 1981.

After being released by Yorkshire he played one second XI game for Kent County Cricket Club in 2003 without taking a wicket.

After being released by Yorkshire, he has since become a P.E. teacher at Spen Valley Sports College.
