Christopher de Almeida Pilar, often referred to simply as Christopher (born March 29, 1985 in Dijon, France) is a Portuguese goalkeeper for football club C.S. Marítimo in the BWINLIGA.
The Under-21 international star has been rated as the next Vítor Baía, and is seen as a huge future talent at his club Marítimo. He began his career in the B team of Sporting in 2002, before being released and signing for lower league club Torreense in 2004. After just one season he was snapped up by Marítimo to play in their B team where he has remained, having yet not played a first team game.
In 2007, the young keeper was promoted to second-choice behind Brazilian Marcos.
