Christophe Dechavanne

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Christophe Dechavanne is a popular French television and radio host and program producer.

He has a characteristic overexcited style and frequently provokes others. He is often disliked by various intellectuals, notably by the journalists of Télérama magazine, which has often published pictures in which Dechavanne looks foolish[citation needed].

The shows Christophe Dechavanne hosts could probably be compared to Jerry Springer productions in the U.S.. For example, in Ciel mon mardi, one of his weekly shows in the early 1990s, Dechavanne invited groups of people who hated each other in real life to "discuss" their differences.

Currently, Christophe hosts the French version of Wheel of Fortune, entitled, La Roue de la Fortune.
