Christon Tembo

Lt. Gen. Christon Tembo (born 1944) is a former vice-president and army commander in Zambia.[1] He was foreign minister from 1995 to 1996 and then vice-president from 1997 to 2001. He ran for president in the December 2001 election and took third place, with about 13% of the vote.[2]
