Dr. Christine DeGregorio is a faculty member at American University. Professor DeGregorio's research and teaching focuses on Congress, interest groups and political communications. In her recent book, Networks of Champions: Leadership, Access, and Advocacy, she examines the partnerships that form among officeholders, congressional staff, and professional lobbyists. Her articles are published in such journals as Polity, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and Congress and the Presidency. DeGregorio is a fellow at the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies at American University.
