Christine Brennan

Christine Brennan (born 14 May 1958 in Toledo, Ohio) is an American sports columnist and commentator.
Brennan holds a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Journalism from Northwestern University. She started her career as the first female sports reporter for the Miami Herald[citation needed] before moving to the Washington Post in 1985. There, she became the first woman to cover the Washington Redskins. In 1988 Brennan was elected as the first President of the Association for Women in Sports Media.[citation needed]
