Christian Tabernacle Academy

Christian Tabernacle Academy is a private Christian school located in Lincoln City, Delaware in northern Sussex County. Christian Tabernacle Academy was founded in 1974, has an enrollment of 164 students, and offers programs from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade[1]. The school year is 180 days and involves 7 hours of classroom instruction a day following the A Beka curriculum. The student to teacher ratio for Christian Tabernacle Academy is 10 students for every 1 teacher. The ethnic make-up is 77% White, 18% Hispanic, 3% Black, 1% Asian, and 1% Unspecified[2].

Christian Tabernacle Academy students have the opportunity to participate in three junior high and varsity sports as the Christian Tabernacle Cougars. Boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls soccer, and boys and girls basketball. The girls volleyball team, led by Coach Denean Cox, were the 2006 and 2007 Delaware Valley Christian Athletic Conference Champions[3].
