[edit] Club Career

Nade was born in Montmorency. He came through the ranks at ES Troyes AC and made his debut for ES Troyes on January 19, 2000 against RC Strasbourg in the French Championnat. While with ES Troyes, he spent a six-month loan spell at Le Havre.

He signed a three-year contract for Sheffield United on June 27, 2006 and scored on his debut for the club in a friendly against Rotherham United on July 28 after coming on as substitute for Rob Hulse in the 70th minute. He scored his first competitive goal for "the Blades" in a League Cup 2nd round tie against Bury at Bramall Lane on September 19, 2006. His first Premiership goal came on December 30, 2006 against Arsenal in a famous 1-0 win; it was also the last goal of 2006 in English football.

At the end of the 2006/07 season, Hull City had a reported £550,000 bid for Nadé accepted by Sheffield United. However, the deal broke down when Nadé rejected an incentive-based contract, differing from the original terms offered, which Hull claimed was due to fitness concerns.[1]

On the 31st August 2007, Christian signed for SPL outfit Heart of Midlothian in a 3-year deal.[2]
