Christian Maggio (born 11 February 1982 in Montecchio Maggiore) is an Italian footballer, who plays for Napoli in Serie A.
A strong performance by Maggio in the 2008 season has given him 9 goals, the highest by a defender in Serie A and only four yellow cards. He came very close to the Italian Euro 2008 squad and has been earmarked by Coach Donadoni as the successor to Panucci at right back for the Azzurri.
