Christian Labour Party

Initially, founded in 1985 as PJ or Youth Party (Partido da Juventude) by Daniel Tourinho, a Brazilian lawyer; in 1989 the party is renamed: The PRN or National Reconstruction Party (Partido da Reconstrução Nacional) was a centrist political party in Brazil. In 1989 Fernando Collor de Mello was elected president by this party. After Collor's impeachment, in 1992, the party suffered a deep crisis and eventually changed its name to Partido Trabalhista Cristão- PTC (Christian Labour Party), in 2000.
