Christian Adolph Klotz (13 November 1738--31 December 1771) was a German philologist.
The son of a senior church official, Klotz attended the universities of Lepzig and Jena. In 1763 he obtained the position of professor, and in 1765 moved to the University of Halle (now the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg), where he served as Professor für Philosophie und Beredsamkeit (Professor of Philiosophy and Eloquance).
