Christ The King Regional High School

Christ the King Regional High School is a Catholic high school located in Middle Village, Queens, New York City, New York, USA. Often referred to as 'CK' among its students. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn.

[edit] Athletics
This school is known for its athletics, especially its men’s and women’s basketball teams. Christ the King offers a wide variety of sports, such as men’s and women’s basketball, bowling, cross country fall, handball, indoor track winter and soccer. The men only programs are baseball, ice hockey, football and outdoor track winter. The women only programs are softball, cheerleading, dance, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Christ the King also has a state of the art fitness center.
Christ the King has had many of its students become professional sports players. Wendall Alexis, Erick Barkley, Speedy Claxton, Omar Cook, Lamar Odom, Derrick Phelps, Khalid Reeves and Jayson Williams of the NBA all attended CTK. WNBA stars include Shay Doron, Chamique Holdsclaw and Sue Bird. Other CTK alumni Allen Watson and Steve Karsay both went to the New York Yankees.

Christ the King also has a wide variety of clubs. These clubs are art, broadcasting (formerly Royal Vision), ceramics, computer, freshman student council, international, junior student council, key club, literary & art magazine, national honor society, performing arts, portfolio, rosary club, royal times (newspaper), SADD (students against destructive decisions), senior student council, sophomore student council, speech & debate team, theatre arts and video yearbook & yearbook.
