Christ Church, built in 1807 and located at 620 G. Street, S.E., is the historic parish church of Washington Parish in Washington, D.C.. The parish was created in 1794 by the legislature of the Province of Maryland. The church, which is also called Christ Church, Navy Yard, because of its proximity to the Navy Yard ,was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.
